2003

An international educational project on group analysis was launched

This series of seminars, thanks to the highest qualification of invited lecturers and supervisors, expanded the circle of proactive Ukrainian colleagues, strengthened their professional identity, attracted a lot of interested listeners and gave a powerful impetus to the subsequent organizational, analytical and teaching activities of the members of the Section.

The seminars were held on the basis of the Department of Borderline, Psychosomatic and Somatoform Disorders RRH No. 1 in Kyiv, with the support of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Medical psychology Faculty of the NMU of O.O. Bogomolets. The project was managed by Oleg Chaban. Alexandra Khmelevskaya acted as the initiator, inspirer and coordinator of the project.

Malcolm Pine, Kevin Power (Great Britain), Michael Heine, Paul Jansen (Germany), Inger Larson (Sweden), Rudolf Balmer, Ruth Balmer (Switzerland), Robi Friedman (Israel) partisipated as lecturers, supervisors and conductors of large psychonalytic groups.

2003

Kyiv project on group analysis "Theory and personal experience" was launched

On the basis of the Department of Borderline, Psychosomatic and Somatoform Disorders RRH No. 1 in Kyiv, with the support of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Medical psychology Faculty of the NMU. O.O. Bogomolets, a 3-year propaedeutic course for students of medical and other universities was organized within the framework of the Section of the GPP APPU, the purpose of which was to acquire theoretical knowledge in the field of group analysis and personal experience in the analytical group.

The organizer, ideological inspirer and coordinator of the project was Alexandra Khmelevskaya. The direct management of the project and its organizational support was carried out by Oleg Chaban, who also took part in the conduct of a large analytical group in tandem with Alexandra Khmelevskaya. Training analysts of the Section were involved in leading small analytical groups and teaching theory: Irina Baiguzina, Andrey Kovalenko, Tamara Krivonos, Taras Levin.

The project took the form of three-day blocks, which were held four times a year and included sessions of small and large analytical groups, as well as theory classes. More than 40 students who took part in the project used the acquired knowledge and skills for personal growth and subsequent professional activities. Many of them continued their studies at the qualification course of the Section of group analysis and acquired the specialty of a group analyst of the APPU and continued to practice psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and take part in the organizational activities of the Section.

2004

Khmelnitsky project on group analysis "Theory and personal experience" was launched

On the basis of the Center for Social Support of Women and Youth "Rodynny dіm" (Khmelnitsky City State Administration), with the support of the Khmelnitsky Center for Social Services for Family and Youth of the Regional State Administration and the regional CPS of the regional hospital №1, as well as the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Social and Psychological Faculty of Khmelnytsky National University, a 4-year course for psychologists, social workers, teachers of regional structures, students of Khmelnitsky National University and other universities, the purpose of which was to acquire theoretical knowledge in the field of group analysis and personal experience in an analytical group.

Irina Rybak was the direct organizer, ideological inspirer and coordinator of the project. Elena Bauer was the assistant coordinator and secretary of the project. Project management and organizational support was provided by Oleg Chaban, who also took part in the conduct of analytical groups in tandem with Andrey Kovalenko. The training analysts of the section were also involved in conducting small analytical groups and teaching theory: Irina Rybak, Andrey Kovalenko, Vladislav Gasolishin.

The project took place in the form of three-day blocks, which were held four times a year and included sessions of small and large/medium-sized analytical groups, as well as theory classes. More than 30 students of the first groups who took part in the project used the acquired knowledge and skills for personal growth and subsequent professional activities. Many of them continued their studies at the qualification course of the Group Analysis Section and acquired the specialty of a group analyst of the APPU and continue to practice psychoanalytic psychotherapy and take part in organizational

2005

The Vinnitsa project on group analysis "Theory and personal experience" was launched

On the basis of the medical and psychological center "AltaMedCenter" in Vinnitsa, with the support of the Department of Psychology of the Medical psychology Faculty of the NMU. N.I. Pirogov, within the framework of the Section of the GPP APPU, a 3-year propaedeutic course was organized for students of medical and other universities, the purpose of which was to acquire theoretical knowledge in the field of group analysis and personal experience in the analytical group.

The direct organizers and coordinators of the project were Tamara Krivonos and Irina Baiguzina. Organizational support was provided by Oleg Chaban and Alexandra Khmelevskaya. Leading a large analytical group was carried out by
Irina Baiguzina and Taras Levin. The training analysts of the Section were involved in leading small analytical groups and teaching theory: Irina Baiguzina, Andrey Kovalenko, Tamara Krivonos, Taras Levin, Alexandra Khmelevskaya, Inna Yavorskaya, Sergey Yanovsky.

2007

An international supervision project on group analysis was organized

The supervision project was an important step in the professional development of the members of the Section, a prerequisite for the subsequent establishment of a qualifying training course in group analysis within the Section.

The initiator and organizer of the project was Alexandra Khmelevskaya. The seminars were held under the guidance of Oleg Chaban on the basis of the Department of Borderline, Psychosomatic and Somatoform Disorders of the RRH No. 1 in Kyiv, as well as on the basis of the Massandra boarding house in Yalta. Taras Levin acted as the project coordinator. Sergey Yanovsky and Olga Tikhonova also made an important contribution to the organizational work. The European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy provided
necessary financial assistance for the implementation of the project.

The project included three-day blocks of lectures, supervisory sessions and large analytical groups. Leading group analysts from a number of Western European countries acted as lecturers, supervisors, leaders of a large analytical group: Inger Larson (Sweden), Rudolf Balmer, Elisabeth Sander (Switzerland), Heribert Knott (Germany), Pegi Dini, Mary Gordon (Ireland) , Thor Christian Iceland, Else Margrethe Berg (Norway), Robi Friedman, Gila Ofer (Israel).

2008

Section of the GPP APPU becomes a full member of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (EFPP).

An important stage in the recognition of the achievements of the Section and its integration into the European professional community was the entry into the European Federation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

EFPP is an umbrella organization that brings together national networks of individual, child and adolescent, group, and family psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Currently, the EFPP includes national delegates from 32 countries that share common goals and objectives and meet a single standard for the training and qualification of psychoanalytic psychotherapists.

2008

Established a qualification course on group analysis in Kyiv

At this stage of the development of the Section, thanks to a large amount of preparatory organizational work, the experience of teaching, analytical and supervisory activities acquired by the training analysts of the Section, and recognition in the European professional community, it became possible to establish a unified educational program leading to the qualification of a group analyst specialist.

From that moment on, the program is fully implemented by the Section's training analysts, is subject to a single curriculum and is organized according to a three-part model (personal experience in a small analytical group, theory, supervision) in accordance with the EFPP educational standard.

The first groups of personal experience within the framework of the Section qualification course started in Kyiv under the leadership of Oleg Chaban, Andrey Kovalenko and Taras Levin.

2008

A qualifying course on group analysis was established in Khmelnitsky

In 2008, within the framework of the Section's qualification course, the approved unified curriculum, in accordance with the three-part model (personal experience in a small analytical group, theory, supervision) and the educational standard of the EFPP in Khmelnytsky, a personal experience group was started under the leadership of Irina Rybak, Andriy Kovalenko, as well as supervision of Andrey Kovalenko, Oleg Chaban (until 2008 and later), Irina Rybak (since 2009)

Irina Rybak was the head of the project and section of the GPP APPU. Elena Bauer was the project coordinator. In 2012, at a general meeting in Odessa, an expansion of the coaching staff was approved, Elena Bauer and Elena Bondar were introduced, and a supervisor - Elena Bondar - according to the project and the qualification course. The work received a new positive impetus and
expansion of the number of participants, creation of new groups.

In 2013, Lena Bondar was approved as the project coordinator and head of the Khmelnytsky GPP section of the APPU. The leaders of the Khmelnytsky school of psychotherapy are Irina Rybak and Andriy Kovalenko.

2009

Established a qualifying course on group analysis in Vinnitsa

As part of the Section’s qualification course, the approved unified curriculum, in accordance with the three-part model (personal experience in a small analytical group, theory, supervision) and the EFPP educational standard, a group of personal experience began to work in Vinnitsa under the guidance of Tamara Krivonos, Andriy Kovalenko, Irina Baiguzina, Sergei Yanovsky, Sergei Korzh and Inna Yavorskaya.

2009

A cycle of open seminars on the theory of group analysis has begun

As part of the qualification course of the Section, in order to fulfill the requirements of a unified curriculum in terms of theory, a regular cycle of theoretical seminars on group analysis was organized. The theoretical seminar has become a special event that brings together experienced professionals and novice psychotherapists, analysands and training analysts from different cities of Ukraine, students and practitioners who are united by a common interest in studying group analysis and exploring their own mental life through communication with others.

Teaching theory, conducting discussion groups, thematic workshops and leading a large analytical group at the seminar, in addition to the main trainers of the Section, at different stages involved leading experts in group analysis from Ukraine, near and far abroad: Mikhail Pustovoit (Ukraine), Evgeniy Raizman, Marina Muchnik, Vera Balabanova (Russia), Rudolf Balmer, Elisabeth Sander (Switzerland).

2010

A qualifying course on group analysis was established within the framework of the Vinnytsia School of Modern Trends of Psychotherapy

The head of the Psychodrama Section of the ASPU, Tatyana Komar, headed the organization of a multimodal psychotherapeutic school in Vinnitsa with training in the areas of psychodrama and gestalt therapy. Since 2010, the direction of group analysis has been created at the school in accordance with the educational standard of the Section of the SPP ASPU. Taras Levin was involved as the leader of the small group, and Tamara Krivonos was leading the large analytical group. The functions of the school coordinator are performed by Inna Chukhriy.

2012

Introduction of a unified annual final certification of all educational activities of the Section as part of a qualifying course on group analysis

In order to improve the integration of individual educational activities of the Section within the framework of a single qualification course on group analysis, centralize reporting and maintain a high quality of education in accordance with the standards of the EFPP, the Section Council introduced a single annual certification.

2016

Section of the GPP APPU becomes a qualifying member of the European Network of Group-Analytical Training Institutes (EGATIN)

The success of the Section in the implementation of the qualification course on group analysis, the high quality of the educational work carried out became the key to further recognition in the European professional community. At the EGATIN delegates' congress in Zurich, the Section of the GPP APPU was awarded the highest - qualifying - level of Membership.

EGATIN is a network of organizations that provide training in group analysis in Europe, currently uniting 37 institutions from 26 countries. The objectives of EGATIN are to promote dialogue and professional exchange between European training institutes, and to ensure that a high standard of education in the field of group analysis is maintained.

2016

EFPP-Ukraine international conference “Bridge over troubled waters. Professional identity of a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in a changing world”

The conference "Bridge over troubled Waters" was organized jointly by the National Representation of the European Federation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in Ukraine - sections of group psychoanalytic psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy of families and couples of the APPU, as well as the Ukrainian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (UAPP). The program committee of the conference included the president of the APPU Stanislav Tabachnikov, the vice-president of the APPU Oleg Chaban, the head of the SGPP APPU Taras Levin, the honorary chairman of the UAPP Tatyana Pushkareva, the chairman of the UAPP Mikhail Suslov. The event was held on the basis of the conference complex of the Feofaniya Clinical Hospital of the State Department of Humanitarian Affairs with the support of the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychosomatic Disorders of the Feofaniya Clinical Hospital, the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy of the NMU O.O. Bogomolets, Center for Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy, State Institution “Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of NAMSU”.

More than 100 psychoanalytic psychotherapists from 9 countries took part in the conference. As lecturers, supervisors, workshop leaders and a large analytical group, group and individual analysts were invited: Thor Kristian Island (Norway), Gila Ofer, Ella Stolper (Israel), Luc Moason (Belgium), Paolo Fonda (Italy), Krista Hack, Dora Spit (Germany).

Ukrainian colleagues Tatyana Pushkareva, Mikhail Suslov, Taras Levin made plenary reports at the conference.

Workshops, presentations and master classes were held by Oleg Chaban, Tamara Krivonos, Irina Rybak, Inna Yavorskaya, Vitaly Eliseev, Sergey Yanovsky, Taras Levin, Elena Sedelnikova, Olga Mostovaya, Alexandra Mirza, Natalya Litnovskaya.

2019

A seminar with international participation “Dreams above the Dnipro. The Social Matrix of the Dream"

The seminar was organized by the Kyiv School of Group Analysis with the participation of ASPU specialists Oleg Chaban and Taras Levin, as well as colleagues from the Israeli Institute for Group Analysis Gila Ofer and Uri Levin. The program of the seminar includes large and small groups of the social matrix of dreams, plenary reports and supervisions.
