An important stage in the recognition of the achievements of the Section and its integration into the European professional community was the entry into the European Federation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
EFPP is an umbrella organization that brings together national networks of individual, child and adolescent, group, and family psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Currently, the EFPP includes national delegates from 32 countries that share common goals and objectives and meet a single standard for the training and qualification of psychoanalytic psychotherapists.
The success of the Section in the implementation of the qualification course on group analysis, the high quality of the educational work carried out became the key to further recognition in the European professional community. At the EGATIN delegates' congress in Zurich, the Section of the GPP APPU was awarded the highest - qualifying - level of Membership.
EGATIN is a network of organizations that provide training in group analysis in Europe, currently uniting 37 institutions from 26 countries. The objectives of EGATIN are to promote dialogue and professional exchange between European training institutes, and to ensure that a high standard of education in the field of group analysis is maintained.
